The fall is beautiful by the Pacific coast. Cabernet Sauvignon thrives in Napa Valley temperatures. Late summer, early fall temperatures rarely top 80 degrees Fahrenheit. California’s grape harvest commences as the summer sun wanes. September brings a cool edge to the air, not to mention it is the perfect time to experience the harvest.
Grapes used in sparkling wines are harvested first. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are area favorites. The Napa Valley climate imparts a unique acidity to these vineyards.
