CELEBRATE THE FOURTH OF JULY IN NAPA

Napa Valley is the perfect location to celebrate our nation. There’s no better way to be reminded of all America has to offer, than a trip to beautiful wine country, for great food, and even better wine. If you’re planning on spending the Fourth of July in Napa, let us be your guide. Here are some of the great events you can expect from Napa to celebrate Independence Day.

Fourth of July Parade in Downtown Napa

Organized by the Napa Sunrise Chapter of Rotary International, this year’s theme for the Fourth of July Parade is Celebrating our Hometown Heroes. Enjoy the historic parade of floats from businesses and organizations around Napa, and the honoring of our local heroes, which include the Napa Fire, Napa Police, Highway Patrol, and others.

The parade is in historic downtown, starting at Second and Wilson Street and heading east until Brown, before turning south toward Third Street, and then west to the end point at Seminary Street crossing. The fun begins at 10:00 a.m. and lasts until around noon.

Napa Lights Firework Show

Festivities begin at 5:00 p.m. at the Oxbow Commons downtown park and will include live music by the Kenya B Trio, the Afro-Cuban Jazz Cartel, and Tom Rigney and Flambeau.

To honor our great nation, there will be a Salute to USA presentation, which includes a presentation of colors by the Travis Air Force Base personnel, a playing of The Star-Spangled Banner, recital of the Pledge of Allegiance, and a flag ceremony. Fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m. The best places to watch will be from Veteran’s Park, Oxbow Commons, or the Riverfront Promenade.

Red, White and Rosé Celebration

Celebrate the birth of our country, and great wine, at the Napa Village. Enjoy live music on the lawn from Midnight Crush, a rock, blues, and country band that says their main goal is “to see you tapping your feet, and get you up and dancing.”

While you listen, relax with wine, cocktails, and barbecue by Chef Vincent Lesage. There will be lawn games for adults, and activities for kids. The Red, White and Rosé Celebration will be held on July 4, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults, which includes a glass of rosé. The Village is located at 850 Bordeaux Way, in Napa. Enjoy a picnic lawn at Domaine Chandon with DJ, lawn games, food trucks and of course bubbles.

Fourth of July at Carneros

Carneros Resort and Spa hosts a Fourth of July celebration to remember, with great food, music and drinks in the resort’s FARM Pavilion and Town Square. Jack Pollard’s Party of Three will be playing soul and R&B classics, while you enjoy food from the outdoor grill. There will be barbecue favorites, like burgers and grilled corn, along with cocktails from the Boon Fly Cafe and the Hilltop Dining Room.

A firework viewing package will be offered, complete with a bottle of bubbles, two glasses, snacks, and a Carneros Resort and Spa blanket. The event is located at 4048 Sonoma Highway in Napa and runs from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
