Discover Napa Valley’s Terroir During Napa Valley Restaurant Week

Restaurant Week is happening in Napa Valley on January 26 through February 1. Schedule your travel accommodations with Napa Valley Tours and Transportation to enjoy a fun and stress-free restaurant week.

The Terroir

Terroir refers to the characteristics of the soil, climate, and geography of an agricultural region. Factors like temperature, terrain, and the amount of sun and rain an area gets affect the notes of a grape. Of course, this also dictates what varietals can be grown.

The terroir of Napa Valley is ideal for growing select wine grapes and a wide variety of vegetables and fruits. During Restaurant Week, the superiority of the soil will be evident. Participating restaurants are Terroir To Table® bringing diners only the freshest food and the best-tasting wine.

The Restaurants

Napa Valley Restaurant Week allows diners to enjoy wine and meals at various establishments. Restaurants opening their doors for the occasion include everything from Michelin-rated venues to Mom-and-Pop farmhouse eateries. The cost at each restaurant is prix fixe: $20 or $30 for a two-course lunch and $38 or $40 for a three-course dinner. Wine pairings are suggested.
